Can't Get This Out Of My Head! Catchy Songs Of The Moment! (2)

You can read the previous catchy songs of the moment here! http://natalyaon.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/cant-get-this-out-of-my-head-catchy.html

Okay, so last time my catchy song of the moment was Jamie Foxx's 'Blame It'. An old but catchy tune I randomly started to listen to again (T-Pain's verse has to be my favourite part of that song) and while I do like listening to new music released, sometimes you just can't beat the classics (at least in my opinion).

My new 'catchy song of the moment' is one that came about because of rapper Drake. I have to admit that I never really used to listen to Drake's music and up until perhaps a few months ago, the only song I'd properly listened to and liked featuring Drake was Rihanna's 'What's My Name' which is old (about 4/5 years old but feels like a lot longer).

I came across a few songs featuring Drake that I liked a while ago such as 'I'm On One', 'Recognize'......'What's My Name' (alright, I still haven't listened to a lot of Drake...yet) and very recently I stumbled across another song featuring Drake which I never payed attention to when it first came out, yet it has now become my current 'Catchy Song Of The Moment' so here it is!

No.1 Catchy Song Of The Moment
Young Money - Bed Rock

On the subject of more current songs, one song that has caught my attention is 'L.A.Love (La La)' by Fergie, which comes as no surprise since it was produced by DJ Mustard who has a knack for producing hit songs.

Katie Price's 'enemy' Jane Pountney entering the Big Brother house?

Alright. First of all, I highly doubt these rumours are actually true. I mean, there's good TV and then there's just plain crossing the line, but the mere thought of it entertained me enough to make a blog post about it so here we go!

To recap, Jane Pountney is one of the females who Katie Price's current husband Kieren Haylor cheated on her with and this is also someone Price had been friends with for ten or so years (practically adding acid to the wounds). Somehow rumours began circulating about her former friend being brought into the Big Brother House this past week in order to 'liven things up' and although that would make for entertaining television, it perhaps wouldn't be something that Katie Price bargained for when she signed up for the show.

When I think about the possibility of Jane Pountney entering the house, death comes to mind. Death in the big brother house, imagine that? Seriously though, that 'fear for my life' that Perez hammered on about in reference to Jeremy Jackson and Alexander O'Neal is something I would definitely apply to Pountney if the rumours just so happened to be true. However, just imagine the ratings that would bring from the viewers eager to see the 'Katie Price and Jane Pountney Showdown' as the two once again met face to face. I'd predict a cat fight that would give cat fights in Eastenders a run for their money!

My verdict: bring in Jeremy Kyle!

The KISS Chosen One 2015!!!

It's been a while since I've updated my blog, and as much as I'd like to blame university for my week long hiatus (since assignments is a valid reason for my lack of updates), I believe my compulsive viewing of Celebrity Big Brother, The Chase and jamming out to music whilst eating flapjacks are more to blame for this (yes, I love flapjacks).

Anyhow, thanks to my flat mate, I found out about this great opportunity a week or so ago to audition for KissFMUK's competition the 'KISS Chosen One' which is the radio station's search for the next radio presenter. With me currently studying Music Technology and Radio Broadcasting, it sounded like a great opportunity to gain experience for essentially auditioning for a job, whilst hopefully meeting some of the KISS Presenters and a nice day out at the ever so classy Westfield London, where the auditions took place.

I guess the whole thing didn't actually seem real to me until we were actually in the queue which had already started to form despite it only being half nine in the morning (god knows how I got up so early for this). The audition process started at ten which meant at least another half hour wait, where the self doubt started to kick in as I observed the competition around me. Not going to lie, I began to feel out of place as I soaked in the confidence radiating from the other contestants posture and unique look or sense of style that was bound to make them stand out from the crowd. I felt plain in comparison, wishing I had dressed up in some sort of fancy outfit instead of wearing the coat I wear everyday with a wonky hood.

The queue moved quickly once everything started to get in to gear and I could feel the nerves stir within me, but I was actually feeling fine about the whole thing. We were given some cards with a script that we had to read to one of the producers, but not before another long wait which seemed to go on forever. I think it was at this time that I saw one of the KISS Presenters, Melvin in the glass booth which was when my nerves settled in. I think it was just the thought of standing opposite Melvin and auditioning in front of him that got me nervous, but all I could do at this time was practice my script until it was time to read it out for a producer.

I somehow got through the producer stage and onto the next. Another long wait. And then the final stage before the final audition. The finale!

I had a great experience and I am very glad that I went along, even though the competition had me doubting myself. I met some great people who I'd gone through the process with. It was nice that I could talk with people, kind of helping one another in a way because we were all there for the same thing. A definite confidence boost!

Amber Rose posts very racy photos on Instagram!

In what could be the new Break The Internet, Amber Rose recently posted instagram photos of her wearing very little (some sort of g-string bikini thing, shrug) on instagram.

She posted a few more pics on the insta wearing... 'this thing' in different poses with captions like, 'Slayin', 'Milfin' and 'Stifler's Mom' and it has certainly got people talking and no doubt tongues wagging.

What was interesting to see was the positive reaction stemming from these pictures, which were generally tweets and comments of admiration of Amber Rose's body. Others were quick to point out how Kim Kardashian was slated for posing in pictures wearing skimpy outfits, especially her photoshoot where she posed naked for Break The Internet print magazine and therefore praise for Amber Rose is hypocritical.

Now, I've always admired Amber Rose for the simple fact that she's not afraid to stand out from the crowd. I mean, there's not many women that would even dare to walk around with a skin head, but Amber Rose pulls off the look with grace and confidence. She has also been graced with a body that many women including myself could only dream of having.

If I had a body like hers then hell, I'd probably flaunt it too! It's easy to forget that she is a Mother though and there's always that question of 'Is it right to wear outfits like this, and to post them online for everyone to see once these celebrities become parents?' All I will say for now about it is, each to their own.

Jordin Sparks talks Jason Derulo Break Up & more!

In a recent interview with radio station Hot 97, singer Jordin Sparks featured in a lengthy but enjoyable interview, where the presenters waste no time in grilling her about her break up with fellow artist Jason Derulo.

When the former couple split back in September, many people including myself were shocked. They made for a cute and formidable couple, who had been together for quite a long time (3 years to be precise). I also remember this being around the time where other couples no one expected to split broke up such as Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa and Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.

To summarise, Jordin Sparks revealed that she didn't really know the reason behind their break up as the two had never really sat down and talked about things. It's clear from the interview that these two didn't exactly end things on the best of terms, but it also seems that their break up was initiated on Derulo's side rather than Jordin's.

I was pleasantly surprised with how open and honest Jordin Spark's was in regards to spending the majority of the interview talking about her ex. I mean, who would want to spend their time rehashing the past and what's already been said and done? She could have chosen not to delve into the subject of Derulo but was instead open and honest about the whole thing.

Even more than that, it was interesting to hear that Jason Derulo was her first love as I admittedly did not know this (another thing that I didn't know, surprise!). Adding to the fact that for years she had a purity ring as she was saving herself for marriage.

One of the great qualities in a person is someone who is able to acknowledge their flaws which she does in this interview and that can be a very hard thing to do. Kudos.

So, if a young girl was to choose to have a role model in the entertainment industry, then Jordin Sparks would probably be the way to go.

Check out the interview here!

Katie Price entering the Big Brother house?

So, there's some rumours going around that the one and only Katie Price could be entering the celebrity big brother house this Friday! My immediate thoughts on this? Well as of right now they are mixed, but I'll get on to that.

If you've been keeping up with Celebrity Big Brother thus far, which current series started only last Wednesday (it's already been a week, hard to believe), then you will already know of the explosive events that occurred not long into the show's start.
Usually when celebrities or normal housemates enter the big brother house, we can expect at least a few days of harmony whilst everyone gets to know each other. This is otherwise known as the initial period where everyone gets on with one another and all is well in the house. The stage where nominations are just too hard for everyone to comprehend or take a part in because they just 'like everyone too much'. That is until somewhere down the line, the arguments, bitching and controversy begins - the draw of big brother.

In this series, this period of harmony seemed to pass by at the speed of lightning. This was due to the constant antagonising and sexist comments made by celebrity Ken Morley and the draining attention seeking loudmouth known as Perez Hilton. Surprising to say that Katie Hopkins isn't even the main talking point at this moment!

First we lost Jeremy Jackson. This was due to an incident with fellow housemate Chloe Goodman, where Jeremy had tugged at Chloe's robe to see what was underneath(?) revealing her boob, after Chloe went to comfort Jackson in the bathroom because he had drunk a little too much and thrown up in the toilet. Chloe was understandably upset and shocked by this and his actions led to his removal from the big brother house.

Then, we lost Ken Morley after his repeatedly offensive comments about women and two incidents regarding race, after he had just casually thrown the 'N' word out there, or the 'spanish word for black' as Ken Morley put it.

Keeping up with me so far? Good! Well, it's possible that these rumours regarding Katie Price stem from the loss of two housemates less than a week into the show and they need another celebrity housemate to fill that void. I, however have mixed thoughts about Katie Price entering the house if these rumours were true.

I like Pricey in that she is honest and doesn't pretend to be something she is not, much like Katie Hopkins. She doesn't hold back on her opinions so would certainly make for good TV, and it would be interesting to see how she would clash with the likes of outspoken celebrities Katie Hopkins and Perez Hilton. However, she is someone I feel that I already see and hear enough about which drains any excitement and interest that I have about seeing Katie Price on the show.

Oh well, we'll have to see how things turn out this Friday!

Great News! Jo Joyner returning to Eastenders as Tanya Branning!

As one of my favourite characters, naturally I was filled with positive vibes, upon hearing that Jo Joyner was resurrecting her character Tanya Branning. This is for the soap's 30th Anniversary in February, in which we finally find out Lucy Beale's killer! Finally!

Jo Joyner herself confirmed the news, stating, "I'm thrilled to be a part of the 30-year celebrations of a show that I am proud to have been a part of."

I personally wish that she were to return for a longer period of time because in my opinion she was one of the likeable, relatable and third dimensional character's of the soap, but it's great news anyhow!

The actress said, "One of the best things about the soap is that it's steeped in history. We all had a generation of characters that we grew up with - mine were 'Chelle and Sharon, and Tiff and Bianca! It's great that people can pop back in and help create that depth to the show."

"I'm really looking forward to working with everyone again, no matter how briefly. I hope I didn't kill Lucy!"

Jo Joyner's character of Tanya Branning made her first appearance in June of 2006 and her last in June of 2013, so it has been a while!

It will certainly be good to see her character again, that's for sure!

Can't Get This Out Of My Head! Catchy Songs of the Moment (1)

I don't know if I am the only person who does this, but as soon as I like a song a little too much I always end up replaying that one song to the death! Repeat, repeat, repeat. That is until I step across another song that I end up liking a little too much, which usually replaces my addiction for the previous song. Then sooner or later another song enters my life which I start liking a little too much and...well you get my drift. Rinse and repeat. This is a never ending cycle, so no doubt I'll soon stumble across a new collection of songs that will become my future addiction, but these are the current songs that are on my repeat list!

No.1 Catchy Song Of The Moment
Jamie Foxx - Blame It (I know it's old but I started listening to this club classic again recently and fell inlove with it all over again!)

Notable/Previous Catchy Songs Of The Moment

Mark Ronson ft Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk
Kid Ink ft Usher and Tinashe - Body Language

Mr Run His Mouth! Charlie Sheen is at it again!

And this time Kim Kardashian is the target! Charlie isn't exactly a wilting flower when it comes to stating his opinions on the medium of twitter no less, no matter how absurd they may be. I guess this is a quality that a lot of people love him for, me included. I for one cannot deny that it amuses me to read of his 'twitter feuds', which have previously included the likes of Ashton Kutcher and Rihanna. So, how did this come about?

Apparently, this whole thing started after Kim Kardashian reportedly denied a 6 year old girl an autograph. This girl was reportedly upset about this, which was enough to send good ol' Charlie on the warpath.

In Charlie's classic twitter fuelled rant, he wrote, "She cries about it every night before she goes to sleep."

It is pretty sweet that he is defending this girl's honour, but perhaps he took things a little too far when he then targeted Kim K's famous assets.

He went on to say, "You are lucky that ANYONE cares about your gross and giggly bag of funk you dare call an ass."

Okay that was funny, I admit.

Not one to stop there, he added, "Your public loves u. give something back or go f yourself."

I guess Charlie then saw the error of his ways as he deleted the series of tweets, before complimenting Kim K's husband Kanye West. In his latest tweet he actually apologises to the Kardashian, ending said tweet in the hashtag #shutupsheen.

Very wise words Sheen!

Little Miss Scary! Don't mess with Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace (Looking at you David Mcintosh)

If you've ever watched the TV Show 'Big Brother' then you may remember Aisleyne Horgan Wallace. After all, she was a part of Big Brother when it was debatedly at is peak and just so happens to be my favourite Big Brother whilst it was still owned by Channel 4.

You may or may not have an opinion on her depending on how familiar you are with her, but I remember taking a liking to her. She was real and said what was on her mind, unlike some other girls on the show who took the other route of bitching about a person behind their back, before displaying their two faced ways once they were face to face with that said person. At least, that's how I remember it and perhaps it was those qualities that led her to reaching third place in the series.

Anyway I hadn't really heard from her for a while, except for the odd occasion where she had been at some night club with her apparent bff Nicola Mclean (I don't know, shrug) and gotten a little too drunk, with pictures displaying her drunken state for all that were interested to see.

That was until she had started dating Kelly Brook's ex David Mcintosh recently, who then got back with Kelly Brook after going out with Aisleyne on a few dates. Ouch.

Aisleyne, who clearly wasn't happy about these turn of events took to twitter to vent her anger and frustrations, with one of her most recent tweets aimed at the man who broke her heart himself.

The 35 year old posted a picture of Drake cradling an older lady in his hands captioned 'No B*tch Is Safe' and wrote in reply, 'Truth @devildawg85', David Mcintosh's twitter handle.

This is only the most recent of tweets aimed at David Mcintosh and/or Kelly Brook. She has made no secret on twitter how upset she has been over the situation, backed in support by Aisleyne's fans.

All that I can really say about this is that twitter is definitely not the place to air the laundry! It really is true that there are two sides to every story and despite how wrong David Mcintosh may or may not be, it isn't fair on him to no doubt endure abuse from Aisleyne's fans over something that is supposed to be between those two only. But then again, free exposure?
