Highs and Lows: WAGS - Season 1 - Episode 8! The Finale!!

This is the final episode of Season 1 of WAGS and my final Highs and Lows of this Season! Season 2 has been confirmed, so I imagine I will be back writing the Highs and Lows of the next season when it comes back around. I have enjoyed watching this series and will be writing an overall review of the season so far, so keep an eye out for that!

Highs

Barbie, Natalie and Olivia are Getting On

In the earlier episodes of this season, the girls had their differences as both Olivia and Natalie had offended Barbie on multiple occasions. In the last couple of episodes the girls have been getting on, which I believe started during the girls' trip to Mexico. This week, we saw the girls bonding on a couple of occasions. Barbie even stuck up for Natalie when she was being grilled by Autumn about not wanting to commit to her boyfriend Shaun Philips.

Olivia Trying On Date Outfits for Nicole and Natalie

This threesome are a fun part of this show, with their youthful, fun persona's that mesh together well. Olivia had a bowling date with NFL player Marcedes Lewis and Olivia tried on a couple of outfits for the girls, who teased her about her outfit choices. It was a relatable moment for a lot of girls who may or may not have been in the same predicament of picking an outfit for a date.

Unlike her last date, this date actually turned up! The two had a lot of chemistry as they went bowling (in which Olivia bowled particularly badly) but it didn't seem to matter to Marcedes who was into Olivia and vice versa.

Sasha Gates Has Baby

During a gathering with the other WAGS, something appeared to be wrong with Sasha, which we later discovered was her water breaking. This led to her having a premature baby boy. Before giving birth, the idea of having a premature baby upset her, but her happiness of having her baby and discussing her joy with close friends Autumn and Ashley was heart warming to watch.

Lows

Autumn is critical of Natalie on Not Being Sure Whether or not to move in with her Boyfriend & accuses Natalie of having a fake relationship

Earlier on in the episode, Natalie told the other WAGS that she didn't know if she wanted to get married to her boyfriend and that she didn't really know much about Shaun and his career. Autumn was critical of this, claiming she knew everything about her husband and his career. She was also critical of the fact that Natalie wasn't ready to commit to her boyfriend even though they had been together for 3 years.  She even accused Natalie of having a fake relationship because of this, which is a little extreme.

Autumn comes across as someone who is closed to other people's personalities, values and views that are different from hers, at least when it comes to Olivia and Natalie who are her opposites. It is because of this that Natalie and Autumn have clashed on more than one occasion. Perhaps if she was a little more open minded the three would get along, but who knows?

Highs

Sasha Gates Little Girl

Sasha's little girl is officially the cutest. That little smile as Sasha played with her, tickling her on the ground actually melted my heart. Now she is a cute kid!

I think Sasha was given more exposure in this episode than she has been given in previous episodes and this is a good thing in my opinion. She was left out in the cold last week, missing out on the trip to Mexico but this week the focus was on her having a party to find out the sex of her unborn baby. 
I like Sasha. She seems to be the most grounded of the WAGS. She is elegant, beautiful and knows how to put her point across whilst remaining composed in the process. Antonio is a lucky man.

Sasha and Antonio Gates Have Party to Reveal Sex Of Their Baby

Sasha and Antonio had hoped for the sex of their baby to be a boy so that Antonio's legacy could be carried on. They got their wish as it was revealed they were having a boy and the two were ecstatic. Sweet.

Lows

Olivia and Natalie's Differences with Autumn, Ashley and Sasha

It has been clear to see that there is a difference between Olivia and Natalie versus Autumn, Ashley and Sasha. Olivia and Natalie are free spirited individuals who act in a different way to the three women, which can be seen as immature. Autumn, Ashley and Sasha have different priorities to these girls, either being married or in long term relationships and with children. This week, the girls all had a gathering where Natalie seemed to offend the women with the things she was saying, one of them being asking the girls whether their 'V's were a hot mess' because they were Mothers. She then went on to further offend with her talk and views of slavery. She built a pretty big hole for herself that definitely didn't help her in bonding with these three women.

Nicole Turns Down Work Opportunity to Spend Time With Larry

Nicole turned down a work opportunity due to her boyfriend Larry being at home in LA and wanting to spend time with him. While it is understandable, (since they seem to spend a lot of time a way from each other so any time I imagine together is precious) Nicole comes across as dependent. In this same episode it was revealed that Nicole has to ask Larry for everything from what to eat to what to wear as she cannot decide things for herself.

New Highs and Lows! WAGS - Season 1 - Episode 5!

WAGS is a brand new show, which debuted on the E! channel on August 18th of this year. This show follows the glamorous lives of sports stars' wives and girlfriends, giving us ordinaries a little insight into just what it takes to be a WAG. Four episodes in and a lot of drama and cattiness has already taken place! Now is the time for some Highs and Lows (a review of the best and worst bits) of this HOT series!

Natalie Halcro's Boyfriend Shaun Philips Takes Her, Family and Friends On a Trip To Mexico For Her Birthday

Need I say more? Her boyfriend Shaun paid for her family to fly out to Mexico, taking care of their accommodation and activities while on their trip. Now that's what I call generosity (and having a lot of money).

Barbie Blank looks for Wedding Venues in Mexico

During Lunch, Barbie informed Ashley and Nicole that she planned to get married on the beach. While out in Mexico, Barbie saw this as a perfect opportunity to search for wedding venues. Fellow WAG Autumn Ajirotutu came along and the resort they came across looked like something out of a postcard. Jealous is me.

Barbie Blank Doesn't Have Pierced Ears

I don't know why this was so shocking to me when she revealed to Natalie, Olivia and their family that she hasn't had her ears pierced. I guess I just assumed that all girls got their ears pierced at some point.

Seyi and Autumn Ajirotutu's Romantic Walk On The Beach

Autumn reunited with her husband Seyi Ajirotutu after the girls' trip to Mexico with a
romantic stroll on the beach between the two. To sum up, he told her that she was the rock keeping their family together and it was all very sweet. Especially after the difficult time Autumn had in Mexico with the mini dispute between her and Natalie's boyfriend Shaun.

Lows

Barbie Blank Discusses Wedding Plans after Ashley North reveals her Wedding Has Been Postponed

During Lunch with WAGS Barbie Blank and Nicole Williams, Ashley revealed to the girls that her fiancé had postponed the wedding. Barbie then preceded to talk of her wedding plans much to the annoyance of Ashley. It didn't stop there, as Barbie expressed her desires to search for wedding venues whilst hanging out with Autumn and Ashley and then once again with Natalie and Olivia's family in Ashley's presence. I imagine the last thing Ashley wanted to hear was the one thing she wished to be doing.

Autumn Ajirotutu Makes No/Little Effort With Natalie and Olivia or Their Family

While in Mexico, Autumn seemed to spend much of her time with Ashley, who was the only reason she decided to go on the trip in the first place. When she did spend time with everyone, she seemed glued to her phone, not making too much of an effort to speak to Natalie, Olivia or their family. It is beyond obvious that if it wasn't for the show then these girls would not be seen hanging out with one another.

Autumn Gets Offended by Shaun Philips Comments

Autumn and Natalie's boyfriend clashed when during a discussion of religion, Shaun Philips made a joke about being Jesus Christ repeatedly. This didn't bode well with Autumn, who believed he shouldn't joke about Jesus Christ and while she may have either been wrong or right about her views, she would have done better to just brush it off, rather than taking offence.
