So I met The Bella Twins the other day! Here is the story!

Two great things happened on Friday. For one I attended my very FIRST WWE Live event at the Wembley Arena. The first thing that happened in the morning however was very unexpected.

So on Wednesday (last Wednesday) I attended a live recording of the UK TV show Catchphrase with my friend. We had fun at the event and afterwards my friend asked me to look up any other shows that she liked (Family Fortunes, Countdown, Deal or no Deal) we could see for free tickets (yes, they are free!). I had a look on the website SRO Audiences on Thursday evening and saw free tickets going for The Bella Twins at Build Series Ldn, which was for the very next day in the morning. I think it was past 9 on Thursday evening and I was feeling a little gutted. I wanted to see The Bella Twins in person, but I had to sign up to be put on a waiting list for the tickets. I thought I was too late and almost didn't sign up to get a ticket. I thought they probably would have sold out or not have seen my name registered in time. After all I previously signed up for tickets to the Graham Norton show and got nothing back.
After contemplation, I signed up anyway on the off chance that they could still send me a ticket. Around two hours later I checked my gmail and had received an email from SRO Audiences with my ticket. Result! I mean, I had planned to make a start on one of my assignments on Friday before attending WWE Live later in the day but it was the Bella Twins! When was I ever gonna get an opportunity to see them again?

I left my house just after 9 and arrived at my location by half 10 where a small queue had gathered.

I'm in the corner

After a long wait we were finally let inside. I expected someone to allocate seats to us so I lined up behind a queue to take my seat. However, we could grab any seat we wanted. There were a bunch of seats that were quite close to the front stage but instead of grabbing one of them I waited in the line. I almost didn't get a seat and I had to settle for a seat in the corner near the back. Opportunity missed. I spent a little while miffed about my decision, forgetting that in London it's a man eats man world but hey, what's a girl gonna do? I still met The Bella Twins, it's cool. They talked about their WWE Careers, their show Total Bellas and answered some questions from the audience. It was a unique experience.

Highs

Trinity Suggests Jon Does Stand Up Comedy

The majority of the highs from this episode stem from Jon/Jimmy Uso and his stand up comedy as this took centre fold. It all started when Trinity suggested that Jon pursued stand up comedy as another career prospect. Yes! Jon has made me laugh in practically every appearance he has made in Total Divas. He's funny, goofy and lighthearted, making him a great character for the show.

Jon Tests His Material In Front Of Trinity and Her Father

Trinity and her Father wanted Jon to test out his material to see whether or not Jon could make them laugh. Trinity got into her underwear to put Jon at ease (because of that thing about picturing the audience in their underwear if they're feeling nervous). Jon decided to make all of his material about his wife, such as her going to the jacuzzi with a shower cap on and having stinky breath in the morning. It was funnier than put on paper and I cracked up as I usually do with Jon. Trinity's Father also thought the whole thing was funny, bursting out into laughter but Trinity wasn't too pleased about being mocked understandably. To add salt to the wounds, Trinity's Father continued to mock his daughter, jokingly walking out of the room with a shower cap on. Funny.

Jon Takes the Mick Out Of Dolph Ziggler

I enjoyed the presence of Dolph Ziggler this episode, who seems to have just as much of a goofy and funny personality as Jon. It was also interesting to hear that he does stand up comedy on the side, giving Jon a gig at the 'Laugh Factory'. After Trinity expressed her dislike of Jon's material being about her, Jon attempted new material which consisted of really bad knock knock jokes. However, all ended well on the night of the Laugh Factory as Jon took to making fun of Dolph Ziggler and his beach boy looks instead.

Paige's Boyfriend Proposes With Tattoo On Arm

After snooping through boyfriend Kevin's belongings, Paige and WWE Diva Emma discovered a wedding ring in Kevin's jacket, so a lot of this episode was spent with Paige trying to avoid getting Kevin to propose. She knew it was coming, but Kevin proposed in the sweetest way. As he was going to get a new tattoo, he had a tattoo tested on his arm which read 'will you marry me' in fancy writing before he got down on one knee with the ring in his hand. Paige obviously couldn't say no to him after that! Props to Kevin.

Lows

Paige and Emma Snoops Around Kevin's Stuff

First this girl uses a decoy to test if her boyfriend would stray and now this. To be fair, it was Emma that thought to look through his stuff. This was after Paige had mentioned her and Kevin's trip to the jewellery store and the suspicious questions he asked her while they were there. 

WWE Doesn't Clear Daniel Bryan To Wrestle

I feel bad for Daniel Bryan, who seems to be having problems with his health and with the injuries he has suffered. Although he was cleared by his doctors, he wasn't quite cleared by the WWE as they were afraid about him getting back into the ring after his neck injury. Daniel Bryan's wife Brie shared the same concern, fearing she would be taking care of him in his fifties if he continued to wrestle and put his health on the line.

TJ is Less Than Impressed with Nattie's Sister

In this episode, Nattie's husband TJ displayed his disapproval of Nattie's sister staying with them at every opportunity. He was making little snide remarks, hinting at his displeasure of the situation but the girls weren't quite getting it. I feel bad for TJ at times. I love Nattie, she wears the pants in the relationship and Tj is like a little puppy who follows his owner (which would be Nattie). It makes for an interesting dynamic.

Daniel Bryan Doesn't Approve of Brie Dressing too Sexy

It's sweet how Daniel Bryan disapproved (there's that word again) of Brie showing too much skin whilst out on a lunch date and on a couple of other occasions. There are some guys who want to show their girlfriends/wives off to everyone, allowing their partners to strip naked for the world (ahem) and then there is Daniel Bryan. A normal, down to earth and every day guy who wants Brie all to himself. Very endearing.

Daniel Bryan Buys a Composting Toilet

Daniel Bryan decided to buy a composting toilet in a bid to get his wife to cover up. His genuine enthusiasm and passion for his new purchase was cute to watch and like me, Brie was baffled. Urine, poop, urine poop.

Lows

Nattie Sets Her Sister Up to Get Her Out of House

Nattie had the best intentions in setting her sister up with a 'mate' in the form of WWE Superstar Big E to get her out of the house. I imagine there are quicker ways of achieving this than finding love for her sister.

Paige gets aggressive with Ariane

Paige was sent by Talent Relations Executive to train fellow WWE Diva Ariane. However, Paige became frustrated by Ariane for endangering and not protecting her whilst performing wrestling moves on her and Paige got just a tad aggressive.

Trinity Tries To Be Mean

Tasked with being a bad girl in the ring, Trinity's husband Jimmy and the Divas try to rile up Trinity so that she is more comfortable with her new role. Trinity, who is generally a nice and mellow girl found it difficult to be rude to the waitress as instructed, cracking up whenever she tried. This is just another reason why I am a fan of Trinity aka, the voice of reason.

Nattie Finally Tells The Truth

Throughout this episode, Nattie had been lying to TJ about her sister staying for a few days and about how much their arts would cost. She finally realised what telling white lies does, sat her husband, her parents and sister down and hit them all with a whole bunch of truths. Overload!

Owen

I like the little segments where they have fans interacting with the Divas and the little boy, Owen who was a fan of the Bella Twins was cuter than cute! Adorable.

Lows

Nattie Moves In Her Sister Without Telling TJ

In regards to Nattie, this episode focused on the little white lies that she told, mainly to her husband TJ. She had told TJ when moving in to their new house that Nattie's sister was only staying for four days when she had infact moved her sister in. She had also lied to TJ about the cost of their arts. Nattie didn't see a problem with her little white lies, as she thought she was only doing what was best for TJ. Unfortunately for TJ he was left out in the dark by Nattie once again.

Alicia Fox Throws a Drink Over Trinity to Get Her Angry

Jon and the Divas were struggling to get Trinity mad when Alicia Fox decided to throw a drink at Trinity. This worked, rattling Trinity to the point that she was chucked out of the restaurant. It was perhaps in poor taste on Alicia Fox's part.

Highs

Nikki and Daniel Bryan

I like the dynamic between these two. Nikki Bella is quite a materialistic character and Daniel Bryan likes to tease her about this, as well as about not being too smart. At times, I think he perhaps took things too far (like when he said that he thought Nikki was going to a corner when commenting on her outfit), but it seems to be all in good fun as part of Daniel Bryan's personality.

Road Trip

A great little insight into the car journey's between the Diva's and Superstars they have to make when they're on the road and it looked like a lot of fun. I particularly enjoyed Trinity and Jon's convo Trinity told Jon she loved him to the moon and back and Jon told her he loved to the stop sign. Ensue a debate about Jon's love being temporary. Jon's response? "You know you ain't gonna make it to the moon, but I can make it to that stop sign." Jon cracks me up!

Jon/Jimmy Uso

As I've already said, Jon cracks me up. I was literally laughing out loud when Jon started recording the argument between Paige and Foxy with a big grin on his face, taking the whole thing as a joke. He's a very lighthearted character who doesn't take things too seriously and I like that.


Lows

Brie Bella doesn't stick up for Nikki

Considering the little digs Daniel kept making to Nikki Bella upset her, I was surprised that Brie didn't stick up for her sister and instead just went along with it. During their car journey, Brie told Nikki that she should just put up with it because it was his personality. She seemed to never take her sister's side during the whole thing. I think she came across as a little insensitive and cold to Nikki's feelings at this point.

Nattie Can't Say No

First, Nattie agreed to take on 19 cats from her local shelter and then she let Titus and co take a road trip with her and TJ. Both decisions left her husband unsatisfied because she seemed to do these things without consulting TJ first. I feel sorry for TJ in these situations who lives for a peaceful life.

Alicia Fox's Jealousy

Alicia made the bad move of showing up Paige and her new boyfriend. She did this by talking about Paige's ex and the reason they split in front of housewarming guests. This was all because Paige decided to move in with her boyfriend instead of Alicia and she was not too happy about this. However, we learnt towards the end of this episode that Alicia was just jealous of Paige's happiness because she was still in love with her ex boyfriend Wade Barrett.

Natalya's Highs and Lows: Total Divas - Season 4 - Episode 3!

This time in my 'Highs and Lows', we take a look at episode 3 of Total Divas. To summarise, this episode continues to follow the divas leading up to Wrestlemania as more drama unfolds (mostly centred around Eva Marie again, yawn). Highs

Nikki Bella tries to patch things up with Eva Marie

With the hostility still surrounding Eva Marie; especially with the Bella twins, it was nice to see Nikki Bella make the effort to try and patch things up. It's a little surprising to me just how much nicer and more forgiving Nikki is to Brie, who has quite a cut throat mentality. Maybe not cut throat but she can definitely be a bit harsh and blunt. It didn't go quite the way Nikki had hoped but at least she made the effort.

Daniel Bryan's speech on Connor The Crusher

I got a little bit emotional just like Daniel Bryan when giving his speech about Connor. I also felt teary eyed when watching the video WWE posted up last year of Connor hanging out with WWE superstars, including his favourite Daniel Bryan. It was a touching moment.

Paige wrestles her first Wrestlemania

Paige got a tad emotional after her Wrestlemania match because of how happy she was to be wrestling her first wrestle mania and at the age of 22, which is impressive. I like touching moments involving Paige because it helps me to warm to her. She has always come across to me as someone who doesn't get upset about too many things with her lighthearted and fun personality, so it was nice to see a different side to her.

Brie Bella stays with WWE

After finding out that both Brie and Daniel are fertile and able to have children, Brie decided that she was going to stay with the WWE. This whole time she had been set on leaving, so to hear her say that she was going to stay was a shock. A good shock, dare I say.

Eva lands agent Brad Slater

In the past three episodes Eva has been getting stick, because the Divas in general believe that she is only in the WWE for fame and doesn't have a passion for wrestling. Eva has told the Divas time and time again that she has been working hard to improve and that WWE means a lot to her. Still, she'd been given a hard time, so I was on her side when she revealed to her husband that she signed a deal with top agent Brad Slater who has worked with the likes of The Rock. In her situation I would have crumbled to the wrath of the Divas so good on her, though her getting an agent kind of proves Brie Bella's point.

Lows

Brie Bella on Eva Marie

Brie Bella had pretty much written Eva Marie off after her instagram post about a lion not following the opinion of sheep and when Brie Bella cuts you off, she cuts you off. I wouldn't want to get on he wrong side of Brie because the way she acted towards Eva at times verged on plain nasty. At times it felt a little unnecessary.

Nattie's puppy/kitty joke

I didn't watch the Hall Of Fame, so I don't know how that joke was perceived. They 'edited' in laughter (I don't know if it was edited or just cut awkwardly) but yeah, I didn't find it funny. Of course this is a very VERY minor low since I have very few lows this week but I love my fellow same named Diva so I can't fault her.

Not enough Trinity and Jon

Trinity and Jon are my favourite couple on Total Divas so naturally I want to see more of them. Give them some storylines, Total Divas.
