Highs

Jon's Protectiveness Over Trinity's Wrestling Gear

When it was suggested in Mexico (by Nattie I believe) that the girls do sexy photoshoots on the beach to show off their bodies to their men, Trinity was against it due to the fact that Jon had a problem with her racy wrestling gear previously. Cautious, she decided to sit out of the photoshoot because she didn't want to upset Jon. I think it's kinda sweet how Jon doesn't want Trinity to reveal too much of herself to everyone as he wants to be the only one to see it. Old fashioned, but I like it.

Divas Fun at The Beach

The chemistry between the girls (minus Eva Marie who wasn't there) is clear to see as this episode was spent with them having fun in Mexico. It looked like genuine fun when the girls were laughing and joking around and throwing each other into the pool, before running around on the beach, grappling and pushing each other without a care in the world. What a life to live.

Nikki's/Bryan's Node to Brie That Life is Too Short

Brie has a difficult relationship with her Father which causes her to have little to no contact with him. However, both Nikki and Daniel Bryan expressed to Brie one way or another how life is too short. As Bryan said, there may come a day when he is no longer here. It is a little reminder to appreciate loved ones before it is too late.

Girls Spent All Episode Together

Minus Eva Marie, the rest of the Divas cast spent this episode in Mexico relaxing and having fun together as they took a break from their hectic work schedule. It was nice to see all the girls together where their chemistry shone as in previous episodes the Divas have been seen doing their own thing. More than that, all the girls seem to get on really well with one another which can be a rare feat for a group of (especially attractive) women.

Paige's Convo with TJ

Fed up of Nattie's constant talk of husband TJ and tag team partner Cesaro's bromance, Paige decided to wind Nattie up by suggesting that TJ was gay. The funniest part of this came from Paige's talk with TJ when Nattie called him up to tell him of what Paige had said. Paige asked TJ about his relationship with Cesaro and his response didn't exactly help matters. He started commenting about how strong Cesaro was and how much he can bench press (or something like that), cracking Paige and the girls up. Funny.


Lows

Alicia Fox Posts Video of Trinity Twerking On Instagram

The girls spent an evening at a bar drinking cocktails and twerking (my kind of night, minus the twerking). Trinity was unaware that Alicia Fox had filmed her twerking and posted it up on her instagram page. Trinity wasn't happy with this as she was afraid that Jon would see and disapprove and she didn't want to let him down. She told Alicia Fox that if she knew she had been filmed then she wouldn't have done it. It is a reminder of how easily something can end up on social media to be imprinted on the internet forever (or for as long as it stays online).

Divas Find Out Dusty Rhodes Passed Away

It was sad watching the Diva's reaction after they found out about WWE Legend Dusty Rhodes passing away. Nattie broke down into tears and Paige teared up as she talked about what Dusty meant to her. R.I.P to the legend that is Dusty Rhodes.

Highs

Jon/Jimmy Uso's Presence

As perhaps my favourite recurring star on this show, I was more than happy for him to be given quite a bit of screen time. This was due to a trip Trinity planned for Trinity and Jon's family, where she planned to use an RV to travel to location. I have made it more than clear of my love for Jon/Jimmy Uso, who has a lighthearted, goofy and fun persona. In one of his first appearances this episode he displayed this side of him, joking that everyone was too big to stay in an RV together amongst other things.

Trinity Plans Trip for Family in RV

It was a nice gesture on Trinity's behalf to suggest a mini vacation for the family, where we were given a genuine insight into what it would be like hanging out with the Trinity/Jon crew. Apart from a few mishaps, the trip looked like a bunch of fun overall and I have to admit that I would have loved to be a part of it.

Brie Bella, Nikki Bella and Renee Young Go on Mini Vacation

Again, we were given an insight into another mini vacation. This time it was on the half of the Bella Twins and WWE Commentator Renee Young, to help Nikki Bella take her mind off of all the stress and anxiety she had been going through as of late. I am just a tad envious of the place and location these girls got to spend time in. Beautiful.

Lows

Nikki Bella is Affected by Stress and Anxiety 

It was interesting to witness the anxiety and stress that Nikki had been going through due to the extra responsibility placed upon her as Diva's Champion. It goes to show that even the ones who seem to have it all feel the same emotions as us little people.

Jonathan Coyle

I like Jonathan and he seems like a great support for Eva Marie who has been given a lot of work opportunities as of late. It would be nice to learn of what Jonathan does though, since we are given a little background of what the other Diva's partners do for work (we even know of what Paige's partner does who is not a wrestler).

No Paige/Alicia Fox/Rosa Mendes

I have become quite accustomed to this threesome who bring a lot of fun and craziness to the show and their absence missed felt this episode.

Highs

Trinity Tries To Be Mean

Tasked with being a bad girl in the ring, Trinity's husband Jimmy and the Divas try to rile up Trinity so that she is more comfortable with her new role. Trinity, who is generally a nice and mellow girl found it difficult to be rude to the waitress as instructed, cracking up whenever she tried. This is just another reason why I am a fan of Trinity aka, the voice of reason.

Nattie Finally Tells The Truth

Throughout this episode, Nattie had been lying to TJ about her sister staying for a few days and about how much their arts would cost. She finally realised what telling white lies does, sat her husband, her parents and sister down and hit them all with a whole bunch of truths. Overload!

Owen

I like the little segments where they have fans interacting with the Divas and the little boy, Owen who was a fan of the Bella Twins was cuter than cute! Adorable.

Lows

Nattie Moves In Her Sister Without Telling TJ

In regards to Nattie, this episode focused on the little white lies that she told, mainly to her husband TJ. She had told TJ when moving in to their new house that Nattie's sister was only staying for four days when she had infact moved her sister in. She had also lied to TJ about the cost of their arts. Nattie didn't see a problem with her little white lies, as she thought she was only doing what was best for TJ. Unfortunately for TJ he was left out in the dark by Nattie once again.

Alicia Fox Throws a Drink Over Trinity to Get Her Angry

Jon and the Divas were struggling to get Trinity mad when Alicia Fox decided to throw a drink at Trinity. This worked, rattling Trinity to the point that she was chucked out of the restaurant. It was perhaps in poor taste on Alicia Fox's part.

Natalya

Natalya was a lot of fun in this episode, using initiative in regards to the Alicia Fox and Wade Barrett situation and causing mischief in the process. We saw a different to Natalya, who is usually stressing over something and it was good to see her let her hair down.

"Commoner" Paige

Paige is relatable as a "commoner" and as someone who is from Britain, also understands that Tea Time doesn't represent the United Kingdom. All Paige wanted was to have a pint, some fish and chips and to have some fun. She talked a lot of sense in this episode which is understandable because is from Norwich, England. I have lived in England all of my life and have never had a teatime either. Fish and chips however...

Eva Marie's and Jonathan Coyle's Food

Their food at that restaurant was mouth watering! I was hungry watching them devour that food. Coming from someone who is a fussy eater, I wouldn't have minded completely stuffing my face in whatever they were having. Jonathan also proved once again to be good support for Eva who was worried about the options of others concerning her bruises.

Lows

Teatime

Nikki's idea of a good time was having teatime. We already know that Nikki is quite materialistic and enjoys the finer things in life, but it did come across as stereotypical. Paige is right, teatime is more of a royals thing and outside of a funeral I have never seen a tea hat on my life. Except for on TV.

Alicia Fox/Wade Barrett

Rosa had a point about Alicia waiting until they were back home to tell Wade Barrett how she felt. As Wade Barrett has a girlfriend It could have been seen as a home wrecking situation just as Rosa. No one likes a home wrecker.

Highs

Nikki and Daniel Bryan

I like the dynamic between these two. Nikki Bella is quite a materialistic character and Daniel Bryan likes to tease her about this, as well as about not being too smart. At times, I think he perhaps took things too far (like when he said that he thought Nikki was going to a corner when commenting on her outfit), but it seems to be all in good fun as part of Daniel Bryan's personality.

Road Trip

A great little insight into the car journey's between the Diva's and Superstars they have to make when they're on the road and it looked like a lot of fun. I particularly enjoyed Trinity and Jon's convo Trinity told Jon she loved him to the moon and back and Jon told her he loved to the stop sign. Ensue a debate about Jon's love being temporary. Jon's response? "You know you ain't gonna make it to the moon, but I can make it to that stop sign." Jon cracks me up!

Jon/Jimmy Uso

As I've already said, Jon cracks me up. I was literally laughing out loud when Jon started recording the argument between Paige and Foxy with a big grin on his face, taking the whole thing as a joke. He's a very lighthearted character who doesn't take things too seriously and I like that.


Lows

Brie Bella doesn't stick up for Nikki

Considering the little digs Daniel kept making to Nikki Bella upset her, I was surprised that Brie didn't stick up for her sister and instead just went along with it. During their car journey, Brie told Nikki that she should just put up with it because it was his personality. She seemed to never take her sister's side during the whole thing. I think she came across as a little insensitive and cold to Nikki's feelings at this point.

Nattie Can't Say No

First, Nattie agreed to take on 19 cats from her local shelter and then she let Titus and co take a road trip with her and TJ. Both decisions left her husband unsatisfied because she seemed to do these things without consulting TJ first. I feel sorry for TJ in these situations who lives for a peaceful life.

Alicia Fox's Jealousy

Alicia made the bad move of showing up Paige and her new boyfriend. She did this by talking about Paige's ex and the reason they split in front of housewarming guests. This was all because Paige decided to move in with her boyfriend instead of Alicia and she was not too happy about this. However, we learnt towards the end of this episode that Alicia was just jealous of Paige's happiness because she was still in love with her ex boyfriend Wade Barrett.

Natalya's Highs and Lows: Total Divas - Season 4 - Episode 3!

This time in my 'Highs and Lows', we take a look at episode 3 of Total Divas. To summarise, this episode continues to follow the divas leading up to Wrestlemania as more drama unfolds (mostly centred around Eva Marie again, yawn). Highs

Nikki Bella tries to patch things up with Eva Marie

With the hostility still surrounding Eva Marie; especially with the Bella twins, it was nice to see Nikki Bella make the effort to try and patch things up. It's a little surprising to me just how much nicer and more forgiving Nikki is to Brie, who has quite a cut throat mentality. Maybe not cut throat but she can definitely be a bit harsh and blunt. It didn't go quite the way Nikki had hoped but at least she made the effort.

Daniel Bryan's speech on Connor The Crusher

I got a little bit emotional just like Daniel Bryan when giving his speech about Connor. I also felt teary eyed when watching the video WWE posted up last year of Connor hanging out with WWE superstars, including his favourite Daniel Bryan. It was a touching moment.

Paige wrestles her first Wrestlemania

Paige got a tad emotional after her Wrestlemania match because of how happy she was to be wrestling her first wrestle mania and at the age of 22, which is impressive. I like touching moments involving Paige because it helps me to warm to her. She has always come across to me as someone who doesn't get upset about too many things with her lighthearted and fun personality, so it was nice to see a different side to her.

Brie Bella stays with WWE

After finding out that both Brie and Daniel are fertile and able to have children, Brie decided that she was going to stay with the WWE. This whole time she had been set on leaving, so to hear her say that she was going to stay was a shock. A good shock, dare I say.

Eva lands agent Brad Slater

In the past three episodes Eva has been getting stick, because the Divas in general believe that she is only in the WWE for fame and doesn't have a passion for wrestling. Eva has told the Divas time and time again that she has been working hard to improve and that WWE means a lot to her. Still, she'd been given a hard time, so I was on her side when she revealed to her husband that she signed a deal with top agent Brad Slater who has worked with the likes of The Rock. In her situation I would have crumbled to the wrath of the Divas so good on her, though her getting an agent kind of proves Brie Bella's point.

Lows

Brie Bella on Eva Marie

Brie Bella had pretty much written Eva Marie off after her instagram post about a lion not following the opinion of sheep and when Brie Bella cuts you off, she cuts you off. I wouldn't want to get on he wrong side of Brie because the way she acted towards Eva at times verged on plain nasty. At times it felt a little unnecessary.

Nattie's puppy/kitty joke

I didn't watch the Hall Of Fame, so I don't know how that joke was perceived. They 'edited' in laughter (I don't know if it was edited or just cut awkwardly) but yeah, I didn't find it funny. Of course this is a very VERY minor low since I have very few lows this week but I love my fellow same named Diva so I can't fault her.

Not enough Trinity and Jon

Trinity and Jon are my favourite couple on Total Divas so naturally I want to see more of them. Give them some storylines, Total Divas.

Natalya's Highs and Lows: Total Divas - Season 4 - Episode 2!

Episode 1 of season 4 (time goes so fast) brought cattiness to the table, as the WWE Divas bitched like a bunch of highschoolers about he fact that Eva was getting private training, rather than training at WWE's developmental centre NXT. What did this episode bring? More drama of course! There wouldn't be a show without it.

Highs

Trinity Standing Up For Herself

Trinity! I had mentioned before on my review of Total Divas from Season 1 to 3, that Trinity was my favourite character on this show. Check out the review here! http://natalyaon.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/total-divas-review-3.html. This episode merely emphasised why I love her so much. There is nothing more that I hate than needless high school like bitching behind someone's back, which is what occurred majorly in the first episode, all because the WWE had sent Eva to train in LA with former WWE Superstar Brian Kendrick.

Trinity didn't agree with the way the girls were bitching about Eva, letting Eva Marie know that the girls were talking about her. WWE Diva Alicia found out about this and accused Trinity of stirring the pot. Trinity stood her ground as the voice of reason, not allowing herself to get sucked in to all of the high school drama. My girl.

Brian Kendrick's Speech

When Eva Marie told Brian Kendrick about what was going on with the Divas, Brian Kendrick's response was 'who cares?' His speech about the Divas hating because WWE expressed an interest in Eva rings true, not just on this show but in life. Jealousy is ugly.

Paige's Fan

I thought it was really sweet when Paige bumped into a fan on the street, who had told Paige that Paige helped her to overcome her eating disorder, because Paige chooses to her herself, not fitting into the typical mould of a Diva. Paige was out shopping with Alicia for a gown to wear for the WWE Hall Of Fame, despite a gown not being Paige's style and choice of clothing. After the encounter with her fan, Paige decided that she wasn't going to switch it up for the Hall of Fame, instead wearing her own style of outfit sending an important message of just being yourself.

Lows

Brie Bella's Not Pregnant

Brie thought that she may be pregnant because she was a couple of weeks late, but after starting her time of the month, we got an up and close look of how it affected her. She was disappointed, being intent on starting a family with Daniel Bryan and I had to admit that I felt for her.

Alicia Fox and Trinity Bust Up

During the altercation, I was naturally on Trinity's side. I like Alicia's feisty personality and understood where she was coming from with Eva, but she, as well as the other Divas went about it the wrong way.

Natalya and her Father

Natalya spent a lot of her time in this episode watching over her Dad recovering from his demons, trying her best to stop him from relapsing. She spent so much time and energy to make sure that her Father didn't spiral back out of control that she lost all focus on herself. Watching this unfold reminded me a little of a parent disciplining their children.
